Globalization & Localization
Isabyte components respect .NET's CultureInfo for date and time
formatting, number formatting, and text direction — the culture your app
already sets is the culture the components format with.
Eight cultures ship built in — de-DE, en-GB, en-US, es-ES, fr-FR, nb-NO, sv-SE and zh-CN — covering date and time formats, number and currency formats, decimal and thousands separators, and text direction. Additional locales can be added without touching component code.
The language selector
IsabyteLanguage is a culture-selector component. Drop it anywhere in your app: it lists the available cultures, applies the visitor's choice to every Isabyte component on the page, and persists the selection across visits.
<IsabyteLanguage DisplayMode="IsabyteLanguageDisplayMode.Full" />
It renders in two shapes — a full selector or a compact one — via
DisplayMode, and exposes the separators as properties when a locale needs
overriding.
Next Steps
